Team communication is facilitated through advanced clinical management systems, allowing for seamless collaboration with our dedicated Clinical Operations Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish your own hours and client availability with no minimum commitment, enhancing work-life integration.
- Receive payment for late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring financial security in your practice.
- Conduct therapeutic sessions employing methodologies like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, fostering an environment of support and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Content Manager to contribute to "Expert Insights" articles, positioning you as a thought leader in the field.
- Lead optional support groups, allowing for deeper community integration and client support.
- Receive client referrals from our integrated referral system, ensuring a steady stream of potential clients.
- Participate in monthly peer group meetings to share insights, strategies, and experiences with fellow counselors.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on clients seeking to build healthier relationships with alcohol. You will work with a diverse spectrum of individuals, some exploring moderation as an alternative to abstinence, necessitating a robust understanding of harm reduction models. Your empathetic engagement skills will be essential in guiding clients through their recovery journeys.
Qualifications
- A valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license in the state of California.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Proficiency in therapeutic techniques such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
- Strong clinical engagement skills along with a deep understanding of community recovery support options such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and non-judgmental space for clients.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in clinical settings focusing on substance use disorders or mental health.
- Background in facilitating group therapy or support sessions.
- Experience with digital health platforms and remote counseling.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and generous paid time off. We also cover the costs associated with obtaining continuing education unit (CEU) credits annually.
