Work Environment
This position offers a remote work setting at the intersection of compassionate care and cutting-edge technology. Our remote community health clinic is designed to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among healthcare providers, ensuring that our clients receive the best support possible. Our team structure minimizes administrative burden, allowing counselors to focus on their therapeutic work without the distractions of billing and paperwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain your own availability, with the flexibility to adjust your schedule according to personal preferences, without a minimum hourly commitment.
- Engage in therapeutic sessions tailored to each client's goals, using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
- Receive compensation for late cancellations or no-shows, ensuring fair remuneration for your time and expertise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, including obtaining Continuing Education Units (CEUs) funded by the organization.
- Collaborate with our content manager to develop “Expert Insights” for knowledge sharing among peers, as well as optional leadership opportunities for support groups.
- Refer clients to community resources such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), SMART Recovery, or Moderation Management, emphasizing the integration of community support as a complement to our therapeutic services.
- Access comprehensive support from our dedicated Clinical Operations Team and Care Coordination Team to enhance your practice and patient outcomes.
- Participate in optional Monthly Peer Groups that foster professional growth through shared experiences and discussions.
Patient Population / Client Focus
At Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC, our client population comprises individuals seeking to improve their mental health and address their relationship with alcohol. We welcome diverse backgrounds and experiences, focusing on providing customized care that meets the unique challenges and goals of each member. Understanding and applying the harm-reduction model is a critical aspect of our practice, as many clients may explore moderation as an alternative to complete abstinence.
Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work and a valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Texas.
- Strong proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed treatments.
- Demonstrated ability to engage clients with empathy and compassion, fostering an environment conducive to healing.
- Proficient understanding of harm-reduction strategies and community recovery support options to effectively guide clients.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in a remote therapeutic setting, with the ability to adapt counseling techniques to virtual formats.
- Familiarity with community resources and recovery models, enabling effective collaboration with clients seeking comprehensive support.
- Experience leading support groups or workshops is a plus but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with potential bonuses.
