Valley Healing Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, enabling you to set your own hours and work from a location convenient for you, while engaging with clients in an outpatient office setting. Members have the flexibility to connect with you through telehealth platforms, making mental health support accessible to our diverse patient population. You will also have minimal administrative duties, as our dedicated team will handle billing and scheduling, allowing you to focus primarily on client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that respect their personal goals, whether that involves moderation or abstinence.
• Engage in ongoing clinical assessment and treatment evaluation to adjust strategies as needed.
• Participate in optional monthly peer group support meetings to share insights and best practices with colleagues.
• Lead support groups, if interested, to foster community among clients.
• Document client progress and maintain accurate records using our designated electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Conduct outreach to connect clients with community recovery support options, such as AA, Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management.
• Encourage clients to integrate community support networks alongside their treatment with us.
• Obtain annual Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as a requirement to maintain licensure, with costs covered by the organization.
