Branches of Growth Psychotherapy LLC is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This full-time role allows you to provide essential therapeutic support to individuals seeking to transform their relationship with alcohol and enhance their mental well-being. As a pivotal member of our team, you will collaborate with clients through flexible telehealth services, ultimately contributing to their recovery journeys and achieving optimal mental health outcomes.

Work Environment

All counseling services at Branches of Growth are conducted remotely via telehealth platforms, allowing for flexible scheduling and a comfortable work setting. Key Responsibilities

• Set your own availability and manage your schedule without a minimum requirement for hours, allowing for a work-life balance that suits individual needs.
• Engage with clients using evidence-based therapy methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing, among others.
• Handle client cancellations and no-shows with compensation provided for such occurrences, reflecting our respect for your time.
• Access ongoing professional development opportunities, including obtaining Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credits, funded by the organization.
• Lead optional support group sessions, contributing to a community-based recovery model, and partner with our Content Manager to create valuable “Expert Insights” for our clients.
• Receive client referrals through our streamlined process, ensuring a steady flow of clients while you concentrate on therapeutic excellence.
• Collaborate with our Clinical Operations Teams to ensure high standards in client care, fostering a nurturing environment for both clients and clinicians.
• Participate in optional monthly peer group gatherings to share insights and enhance professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals seeking to improve their relationship with alcohol, who may desire either moderation or abstinence in their recovery process. You will work with a diverse clientele, providing tailored treatment options that respect each individual's unique goals and preferences. Your therapeutic approach will encompass a range of community recovery support options, such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management, allowing you to guide clients in utilizing these resources alongside the therapies offered at our practice.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license to practice within the state of California.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, with advanced clinical training being a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in the application of evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed treatment approaches.
• A strong understanding of the harm reduction model and its practical application in therapeutic settings, especially regarding individual client goals for recovery.
• Exceptional clinical engagement skills combined with a genuine ability to demonstrate empathy and support to clients during their recovery journey.
• Awareness of community recovery support systems and the ability to integrate these options into client care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing telehealth services and familiarity with digital health platforms is highly desirable.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or educational initiatives related to mental health and addiction recovery.
• Knowledge of current research and methodologies in addiction recovery treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
